Nadeshiko is the mother of Sakura and Touya. She died when Sakura was only 3 years old, but her spirit is always around, protecting Sakura. Touya has sixth sense, so he's the only one who can actually see his mother. Nadeshiko was very, very clumsy. She would walk normally, then just fall down. So that means she wasn't good in athletics, or sport. But Nadeshiko was a model, and she was very beautiful. She met Fujitaka Kinomoto when she was in high school one day, Fujitaka was a young teacher, when Nadeshiko was saving a bird from a tree and fell down. But Fujitaka saved her, catching her, and saying "At first I thought an angel fell from the sky"
Sonomi Daidouji was her close cousin. They were like best friends, and Sonomi always protects Nadeshiko.
